New artists in particular are always worrying about which beats to use. To make your own beats, you must know the first thing about survival as an entertainer. Artists are often confused and they don't understand the importance of sticking to a specific genre, particularly if the objective is to sign up with a label.

However, if you are absolutely convinced that the original beat you're using will captivate and mesmerize audiences worldwide, do it! But for most people, the best strategy is to stick with the norm and simply stay within an accepted genre. Make your beats unique so that everyone will know that your creation is an original one and not copied!

If you can make the genre yours, then you will have the skills to take risks with beats from other genres and dramatically develop your skills at making beats for any style of music!

Now that we have technology to help us create, new artists and the mainstays of pop culture can create good beats easily and inexpensively. if you're wondering how you too can make your own beats, you must be able to understand the fundamentals of linking baseline with audio loops and midi drums . With these basics as your foundation, you can continue to improve your talent of creating beats using technology.

The bass line is important because it's the foundation of the sound you're creating. Because of this, most beat creators develop the bass line first. It's easy to imagine which sounds should be added next when the bass line is in a repeating loop. Rap and hip hop songs arise after several repeating loops have been established. When you're ready with your loops, you can place the other sounds in series of in tandem at various points. Once you have your first loop, then you can decide if you want to build on it to create a second loop.

The last things you should add in are the patterns you create using the midi drums. A good strategy for putting more energy in your beat's sound is to activate the sounds of various midi drums . You have to ensure that these drum patterns blend well and don't end up creating noise. The drum sounds are typically a pattern of midi notes, which can be placed individually or created into a simple repeating loop and placed over your bass line.

So, as soon as you make your own beats, make sure that you have a really good bass-line which creates the mood and sound that you want for your beat. Your audio loops and midi drum patterns will then be positioned at various points of your bass line. See? It's not that difficult to use these three elements to create your own beats!
